Siamese Hut

I have been coming to A Siamese Hut for years, through many owners. I would have to say this is my favorite place. The food is delicious and the prices are great. The current owner and waiter is kind and genuinely interested in everyone he meets. Its run by a wife and husband and couldn't have better owners. Kind people, good food, and good service!

My friend and I had a very nice dinner at the Siamese Hut. The price was right, and the food was delicious! The only thing we would suggest is to have soft Thai music playing in the background, and maybe a flowing water fountain, to add to the already quiet, casual ambiance. We will definitely return again!

and they have good service everything was done it a timely manner and the waiter was very friendly

The food was also very good it is the closest thing to being in Thailand and i know because I spent 1 week Thailand

I would say they have great food but horrible service. I ordered pad siew to go around lunch time and they said it would take 25 minutes. I got there 30 minutes after I called and they told me to sit down and the food would be out. As I waited, two people left their table and were so upset because they have been waiting 45 minutes for their food. I sat there for 20 minutes and they said it was almost done and if I wanted steamed rice with my curry. I told them that is not what I ordered over the phone and so they then realized they were cooking the wrong thing. I was so upset because I had to get back to work and ordered my food an hour ago. I ended up leaving and they never apologized. They have good food but the service is horrible and I am not going through that again. This has also happened more than one time to me and so I am never going there again. If you like that place, I suggest only going when there is no body in the resturant so your food doesn't take an hour. Bankok Cusine has better Pad Thai and service anyway!

Please stop just serving chicken entrees-please send beef entrees.

The best Thai cuisine in Reno by a wide margin. They have a hole-in-the-wall, Mom & Pop feel, as opposed to the more upscale feel of establishments such as Cafe de Thai. But the food is why you're there, and the more expensive restaurants are simply bland compared to the Siamese Hut. I'll add the caveat that the Thai food here tends to be on the sweet side, but that's perfect for me. So if you're taking people out to impress them with atmosphere, stick to the pricier places. If you're taking them to impress them with great dining, this is the spot.
