Thai Royal House

My husband and I have tried all of the Reno/Sparks Thai restaurants and Thai Royal is our hands-down favorite. The service is great, and with generous portion sizes the prices are very reasonable. But all of those things pale in comparison to the food. Thai Royal consistently puts out excellent meals, time after time. The curries are creamy and delicious, especially the red pumpkin curry. Their Pad Thai is a classic mix of sweet and spicy, with perfectly cooked noodles and a choice of meats, seafood, tofu and vegetables. All dishes can be spiced to your comfort level, from mild to wild. One of our favorites is the fresh Thai spring roll; cilantro, prawns, rice noodles and fresh mint, neatly wrapped and served with a satay dipping sauce that is non-oily. If you're in Reno, and you love Thai food, you owe it to yourself to check out the Thai Royal.
