In the past couple of years, there have been numoerous new Thai places that have opened up! Even though their decor ranges way more superior to Lemongrass, I still think that the Lemongrass has a very authentic feel that the newer places lack. Other places seem to hire young cooks and workers on their staff to try to make it a more "hip" feel, but it doesn't give you an authentic Thai dining experience. The food at Lemongrass is amazing and they have a lot of real Thai cooks, so you are actually getting real Thai food! Recently, they seemed to have stepped their game up a bit with new paint, decorations and approaches, as I was told by some of the enthusiastic employees. I really think they stay original and true to their mission of authentic Thai cuisine! My favorite is the Pad Kee Mao and the panang curry is excellent! Justin

This is not the newest or nicest Thai in Bellingham anymore (by far!), but they still have the best portions, and the best Phad Kee Mao anywhere in the area. Best Thai food in the NW is Indochine in Federal Way on 99. Lemon Grass is above average.
