Basil fried rice is awesome, but it pales in comparison to the tom khar soup!!! This place has the best tom khar in town, hands down... it's a tad sweet, which makes it unique in the fact that most other places make theirs a bit spicy or sour (or both). The soup is addictive.. I guarantee you'll be addicted after the third sip :)))) MI-G

It's just o.k. but most of the Asian food in the entire midwest sucks... They almost get it right then BAM! they think they have to make it Americanized ultimately ruining it. If they would just make it how it's supposed to be made and how they like to eat it everyone would catch on and love it just like in the coastal areas of the country like Southern Cal. So, basically if you need a fix this will do it but if you are looking for good Thai food this will not satisfy... Beth

AMAZING food, quality service and careing people. This is one of the hidden treasures in the suburbs! You won't find any other place like it. The food is amazing! Ignore the other reviews. If you want awesome thai food at a cheap price go to Tasty Thai! They also have a delicious lunch buffet all you can eat! Zach

My parents go here all the time, and I go with them sometimes. The waiters are as nice as can be, and the restaurant's atmosphere is very soothing. They have a wide variety of food, and everything I have tried has been delicious. Of any Thai restaurant I have been to, they have the best Pad Thai For protein-lovers, I recommend the sesame chicken. I mean, c'mon, it's lightly breaded chicken covered in peanut sauce and stuffed with crab, cream cheese, and egg. Ignore the other comments, and definitely give this place a try. John

This is a great little restaurant. The food is truly delicious and the staff is very friendly and gracious. Perhaps the reason some others didn't like this place is the simple and unpretentious decor. The language barrier may also be problematic but this place will reward the patient and curious diner. P.S. I don't work there or have any proprietary interest in this delightful restaurant. Jack

This is restaurant is everything I love in a Thai restaurant; great food and a flexible chef - always allow changes to meals especially since I am vegetarian, friendly service, very good prices and freshly made food. The ambience is quaint and quiet as are most of my favorite Thai restaurants. They have an excellent green curry and a very nice spicy eggplant. Enjoy! Ned

This is a great restaurant with great service and amazing food! You can tell when an owner really cares about his restaurant and this is the case here. With many different options, flexibility to order off the menu or change dishes and a relaxed atmosphere, I wouldn't go anywhere else for Great Thai food in the suburbs! (and no, I don't work there)
