Winnie's Oriental Garden

I am a long time patron and family friend to the owner and managers. It is clear to me that the two people who wrote negative responses were incorrect. Particularly about the uncleanliness, as it is immaculate. The food is also excellant and service, gracious as Scott Joseph noted at his own visit. By comparison to other chinese restaurants, this place vastly superior in hygene and food quality. Also, I have frequented the restaurant and know virtually every server who has worked there and in no time since its opening has there ever been a "Dylan" working there, this is clearly a fake entry.

It's true! The owner whinny is a total B****. I used to work there, she is very rude to any customers who don't run a $100 tab. She is VERY rude to her employees as well! I've personally seen her yell at a customer for making sure they got the correct order. There is no way that person was lying. She also fired two of my good waiter friends and tried to replace them with an Asian staff to make her place look for authentic! As for the cleanliness... I don't even want to go there for fear of grossing anyone out. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I appreciate the reviews, though conflicting. I will visit Winnie's for the first time at 12:30pm today. I will write back with my perky, but picky review.

WOW I cant believe this anyone who regularly frequents Winnie's will absolutely know that this is not the truth. Winnie is a wonderful person who has been serving Central Florida for more than 25 years. She has earned her glorious reputation in this industry by serving the best in Chinese cuisine, not asswhoopins.

Winnie's has the best CHINESE food in town. I have been an employee at Winnie's for seven years. The food is excellent and above is not true. If it were, than this person would not keep coming back. Also, I am the certified manager and we are one of the clearnest restaurants in all of Orlando. I was there when this alledged attack happened, it was the patron that attacked Winnie.

What is the (below) - no person in their right mind would physically assault you for a mere complaint - maybe YOU - MS. FORD are not telling the entire truth???!!!! I am also a physician in the Winter Park area and have been frequenting "Winnies" for years - the absolute best Chinese food in town, and as for cleaniness, a Health Department official has once said that you could eat off her floors.

I was physically attacked by the owner/manager of Winnie's Oriental Garden. I found the restaurant to lack cleanliness(hair on my egg rolls) and in response to my informing the management, the manager responded with verbal abuse, hostility, and physical agression. I was assaulted for merely informing the manager that there was hair in my food. I am a physician with a very busy schedule for which I frequent restaurants often. I am astonished that I was attacked while simply trying to enjoy lunch. Legal actions against the manager are pending.
