Orchid Thai Cuisine

Orchid Thai is excellent, soft shell crabs..fab and the teas and wines are superb. Paul of a previous review is just a pretentious snob...To Paul: just becaue you do not care for it there is no need to insult other folks who do. I know Thai food and I recommend Orchid Thai.

actually paul i think the rich know a little more than you think, they can afford to travel to tahiland and tell you what is authentic thai.

Extremely high prices and mediocre food. There are much much better Thai options in the Orlando area. The prices reflect their rent on Park Ave. I'm sure. Let all the rich people who don't know Pad Kee Mao from Lo Mein eat here.

I have been waiting for Orchid Thai to open for quite some time so I was excited to see it open when I walked past it last week. I went there for dinner on Thursday evening and was able to enjoy some live music while sipping on a glass of wine (they actually serve gerwurtztraminer there!). I ordered their Orchid Duck which is a yum salad and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The duck was lightly fried with a fantastic combination of spices. My partner ordered the tofu pad thai and it was wonderful as well. Not too sweet and just the right amount of spiciness (we asked our waiter for more crushed peppers just to explore the wild side). Great selection of beers as well. Definitely recommended.
