Pen Thai

I was taken here on a date and we have dined at a few local thai restaurants in the area and this one was nice but i have seen better. I thought the decor was creative but then we were in there it seemed cold and empty, also the waitstaff was always running to and from tables making it very hard to get their attention. The food was so-so, prices decent, and the service was nice when we could get their attention. over all 3 out of 5 for us.

Have dined here several times over the last 2 years. Accomodating for groups but cozy enough for a date. Well done Thai food, good quality ingredients, great selection, tastefully spiced, reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Service can be a little hit-or-miss, mostly depending on how busy they are, but is always respectful.

This is my FAVORITE Thai place!!! I have many friends who love it just as much. Prices are reasonable, the place is beautifully decorated, clean and modern. Best of all, the food is absolutely wonderful - go with a group and share everything! True, they don't take checks, but a lot of places don't, so that shouldn't be a huge surprise. They WILL divide the total check if everyone puts it on credit cards. TRY IT!!!!

My wife and I found this place about two years ago. I have frequented many Thai places and Pen Thai is the best. Our family and friends have come to know the staff and appreciate their courtesy, friendliness, service, and above all, the consistent high quality of food. We have hosted large groups and the staff has been very accomodating and prompt. Julie and staff, great job!!

The food was so-so, but it was much better than the service. I was part of a large party and they refused to divide the check among guests and would not take checks. Also, it was difficult to flag down any of the waitstaff during the meal, though they sure hung around when it came time to collect money. Based on the terrible service alone, I will never go back to this restaurant.
