Thai Siam

I was shocked at Ann's review. I have to wonder if it is a rival restaurant!or she ended up in the wrong location. We have never, ever eaten poor food there. Call me clueless, but we love it! And we especially love their Fund Raiser that they do every year that raises money for charities. They charge a flat fee of $20 and you can eat as much of a dozen or more delectable dishes as you want...and then they donate the money from that one day! Amazing. In 2008, they earned over $25,000! Whatta a deal for all concerned....2009's Fund Raising Date is August 16th. Thank you, Thai Siam in Ballard! You are have our vote in more ways than one.

I don't see how this restaurant could have the word Thai in the restaurant name. The food is terrible. It tastes more like plain boiled Chinese food an american would cook without any experience with cooking Chinese food. More like packaged Chinese crap! So terrible!!! I picked up a bunch of orders one night and I wanted to see the orders before taking them home. Right away I knew it wasn't going to be good. There was no color. I ordered a chicken dish, and it just look beige. The whole thing. Disgusting. I couldn't believe people were eating there. I mean they weren't busy, but there were a few clueless people dining. I feel ashamed for even paying for all of that disgusting food. I should've just left it there, and not paid.
