Jai Thai

My wife and I dined at Jai Thai on October 15, 2005. The service was horrible, so I tipped 10%. When I received my Visa statement, I noticed that I was overcharged by several dollars. It appears that the waitress didn't like my 10% tip so she decided to illegally give help herself to a 20% tip. In my book, that's theft, and that's a crime. Apparently Jai Thai doesn't understand that tips are discretionary and are intended to reflect the quality of service received. I looked up Jai Thai on the Washington State Better Business Bureau site and noticed that there are other complaints about fraudulent charges. I will never give my business to Jai Thai again. If you decide to give them your business, be sure to pay cash. If you use a credit card, be sure to check your credit card statement carefully lest you too get ripped off!
