Lotus Thai Cuisine

Lotus Thai used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in North Seattle. However, due to a recent lunch I had there, I will be taking my patronage elsewhere from now on. I had walked into the restaurant at 2:15 and asked if the lunch special was still available. The owner said "no", but 20 minutes later a group of four walked in and asked for the special -and she, the owner, said yes. I finished my meal, requested my check, and explained why I would not be returning to Lotus Thai again. All he said was sorry, and walked away -not offering any compensation or promising it wouldn't happen again. I urge readers to not patron Lotus Thai. Go to Kwanjai Thai or Krittika. The service is awesome and the food even better.
