Nori Thai was my favorite but they seemed to get smaller portions the last few times i was there. probably cutting corners with the market and all. but chiang mai looks like they spaired no expense in dishing out large portions with great traditional flavors outclassing all others! ill be back this weekend Jan Scott Frankliln

We have lived in Clearwater for a year and have tried a number of restaurants, including two other Thai restaurants. Chaing Mai Thai has consistently been our #1 place to eat with our two small children because of the amazing food, wonderfully attentive service and friendly staff. Everything on the menu that we've tasted has been fantastic. Peter Smith

They now have Sushi! and it's incredible with large portions where one order can be a full light meal for the person on the go. "But No Sushi on Sunday!" I find the atmosphere the most compeling as the owner is very cute and has an infectious giggle. I could listen to her all day and I feel not only well fed but well cared for. In fact I think she should offer a Weight Loss program where you "Laugh Your Way to a New Figure in 8 meals or less!" The menu is definitely "Royal" and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Whenever the doctors and I want a fast delicious meal mid-day we all go to Chiang Mai. Vanessa

I had previously gone to Chiang Mai and didn't like it because it had a dark atmosphere. Now there is new ownership, they make traditional, high-quality thai food, and I go at least twice a week now. I love it there, the meals are always consistent and wonderfully presented. Very high quality. I'm so glad I found some place nice close to home! Adam Smith

This is a great place to go for a fancy night out or just coming in from the beach. The decor is beautifully decorated with a lot of traditional elements. From the royal tables and chairs to the very walls themselves, this part of the experience is what really transports you to the elegant dining of Thailand! The staff is prompt and polite, not to mention a nice eye catcher. The traditional Thai dishes are among the best in the bay. They say that sushi should be arriving within the week. The sushi bar looks like it is completely installed and awaiting their first fresh order very soon. They'll also have $1 Sushi Monday Nights to kick things off. I'll be in line for that! Luk Engel

One of the nicest, and pleasant atmosphere's for any casual dining restaurant. The staff is very professional and take really good care of their diners. They are very prompt and extremely nice people. The Owner, though young, has many many years experience in running a Royal Thai Cuisine restaurant. The prices are about the norm for this type cuisine. They run specials on a daily basis, and one can always expect the best no matter what food items they order. They serve the finest in wines, and imported and domestic beers. Submit a review for this restaurantSign up or login and earn rewards for making Thai restaurant reviews.
