Thai-Pan Alley

These reviews must be from before the ownership change. This food is not Thai food...the recipes must have been downloaded from the Internet. This place used to be OK, now I will never go back. Thai Basil II up West Bay wins hands down.

Terrific food - my wife and I get a take out regularly and we have eaten at Thai Pan Alley. The service is friendly and the food is delicious and you can have it spiced the way you want it(1 star up to 5 star) and my wife and I love Thai Lomen with Pineapple Fried Rice. And you are right on the beach - what more could you wish for!

This restaurant doesn't serve the most sophisticated Thai cuisine...but it's the best "Bar Food" Thai you'll ever have. Like going to your fav neighborhood bar. The food is carefully seasoned to your instructions (one star to five stars) and the service is great. I drive from S. Tampa at least once every two months for their wonderful food (served on plastic plates), ice cold Thai beer, and terrific service. Enjoy! And try Thai Island on Davis Islands Florida. Tell Pen or Clay that Bill sent you!

This restaurant is simply amazing! I've been craving and day dreaming about it, ever since I finished my last bite (and I am NOT exaggerating!) You have to, at least, try Thai-pan Alley, because I guarantee you won't want to get your Thai from anywhere else.

Best Thai food ever had. Great location, prices, food. Great enough for me to drive an hour 1/2 from Tampa.

I absolutely love this place. It has the tastiest Thai food I've ever had. I recommend the "double delight" with the chili jam sauce, or the pad Thai...or the pad khing...or the "kiss me beef"...try whatever you want, it's all excellent. Nothing even came close when we were actually in Thailand. The prices are great and the servings are more than adequate. Great casual atmosphere close to the beach.
