Way overpriced, and doesn't taste that great. Give me a break, $7.00 for coconut rice?

Great food, but you have to compensate for lengthy cooking time. Best duck curry around, but since they start from scratch (seems like they pluck the duck after you order..) you have to compensate by ordering apps, soup, and entree. That way, you have food in front of you for the hour while the duck is cooking - eat half and get the rest bagged for a sublime lunch the next day. Cant emphasize enough how great the food is. The Thai maitre d is fantastic, there is an older Hispanic (I think) waitress who is pretty bad, and theres a younger waitress who means well but is not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. So service is mixed, but it is SO worth is.

I've eaten at over 30 Thai restaurants all over the US in hopes of finding good Thai food outside of Thailand (I've been to Thailand several times). This is the best food I've had. Still not exactly like real Thai food, e.g. the Tom Yum soup is excellent, but in Thailand, you cannot eat half of a tom yum soup because off all of the seasonings (Lemongrass, Ginger, etc). The food also does take a loooong time. But I'm still a repeat customer. Expensive but well worth it. Huge portions. Get the Tom Yum, the Green or red curries, and definitely the coconut rice.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I don't know how old these posts are, but on Thur 5/25/06, I was there for the first time and had a wonderful time. The appetizers took about 15 minutes and the entrees came out immediately after we finished the appetizers, about half an hour later. There were about 6 other tables there. I have to agree with the earlier poster who said this was the best Thai food he/she has ever had. Very distinctive and classy. No moths to speak of. Highly recommended.

I couldn't agree more with the Hungry Fella. Unfortunately we waited for our food (about 1.5 hours)-- while tiny moths flew all around us, no less. Only good point, we met a lot of people as we all shared in the misery of waiting for our food.

Don't listen to "hungry fella". He's obviously one of those people that would be hard to please no matter where he went. Yes, the food takes more time than regular Thai restaurants, where things are just thrown together. Everything here is made from scratch and you can taste the difference of home cooking that doesn't take any short cuts. I have been to Thailand and it amazes me what passes for Thai food in America. They need to hire more waitstaff for busy nights like Saturdays, but the ones they have are friendly, smart and make great suggestions. You deserve to give this place a try. We're there every week.

What a complete shambles. Rude and clueless staff. The food may be better than any restaurant in NYC but I've had better service in McDonalds. I never got to taste the food. After waiting for an hour and 20 minutes with still no sign of it, we gave up. And it wasn't even full! Please do not waste your time at this restaurant.
