First I'd like to say that I LOVE Thai food and try to seek out the most authentic places to enjoy it. I tried Chada Thai many years ago and wasn't too impressed. I recently thought I'd try it again just to see if anything had improved. Nothing has. Not only did the food have no flavor, but the meat was dry. I picked up our to go order and was going to overlook the poor service until I got home with no rice (that was ordered). I called and coincidently spoke to the owner. Instead of just saying, oh I'm sorry, next time we'll be sure to include rice, she accused me of having my order wrong. When I politely spoke to her about the rude service I received when picking up my food, she ignored me and just repeated what I ordered. I would have tried to overlook the horrible service if the food had been good, but it wasn't. Their Larb Gai was literally tasteless and the meat in the dishes were very dry. Needless to say, we will NEVER go to Chada Thai again. It is certainly NOT authentic Thai food! I'll stick with my favorite and by far the best in the valley - Thai House in Danville.

The food at Chada Thai is consistently amazing, especially the panang beef! The service is prompt and friendly, and the decor rich and beautiful. It's truly a gem, thank god we have something of this caliber in San Ramon!

Tried this restaurant with a co-worker. We're both not that hungry and thought we'd share an order of pad Thai. When ordering, the server didn't want to leave our table, waiting and insisting that we order another entree. We kept telling him that we're not that hungry and we would like to just share an order of Pad Thai. When they handed us our tab, we were informed that each person has to order an entree and it's not allowed to share just one entree between two people. Never encountered such a rule before. I've seen restaurants charging a fee for sharing entrees as they serve the food in two separate plates but not to the point where they insist that it should be one whole entree per person. How rude!!!!
