Thai Basil

Although the location and decor is not as good, Thai-Rama across the street from this place is better. I went in here a few times with friends and every time, the service was slow. If there is a party of 5-6 and your table only consists of 2 but came in before, the restaurant will focus its attention on serving the larger table. I've seen this occur once, when the entire restaurant had about 5 parties of 2 and then one large table of around 6-9 (because their party had people trickling in)... none of the smaller tables were getting service. Their Thai tea is watered down but the food and prices are decent for the surrounding student population.

This is the first time that I have ever been stood up when I placed a delivery order. I got the delivery menu from the front desk of the hotel I was staying at on Chapman Ave. The man who took my order and my credit card information said that it would be 45 minutes to an hour. 2 hours later no one had arrived and the restuaurant would not answer the phone again. I was very upset and would never reccomend this restaurant to anyone. The service is bad and they didn't even call me back after I left 2 messages to try and find out what was taking so long. Nic

Great service, great food, spicy enough to burn all my fat...lolz Give 10/10 for this restaurant !
