I have frequented Thai Lahna several times over the past 5 years and have enjoyed myself each and every time. I do agree the hospitality is inconsistent and lacks warmth...the food however trumps the service. I strongly suggest trying the Beef Satay and Curried Chicken w/Green Beans...absolutely delicious! The Thai Ice-Tea is a real treat...unfortunately, refills are extra. Finishing point...if you have room for dessert...get it elsewhere. Rachel

I've eaten there many times because the food is incredible! Their vegetable peanut curry is amazing, as well the wide variety of appetizers and entrees I've tried. The restaurant ambiance is quite nice - small but cozy, with lots of red accents. The other reviews here that criticize the service must be old; the staff is very courteous and helpful. I've never had a problem with food delays or bad service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Bill

I very much agree with the overall feel of the other reviews that mention the staff attitide. While our food was good I found the staff to be strangely indiffert to the fact they are in the SERVICE industry. I also feel it is best to enjoy Thai Lahna almost anywhere but there. Matt

Best Thai food in the valley by far. The yellow curry chicken is fantastic, as are the panang and eggplant dishes. The male waiter mentioned in previous reviews is no longer there. The current waitresses are very friendly and I have no complaints on the service. Jessica

Of the five of us who went here for lunch, three got the food in 15 minutes, while the other two never got their order even after 50 minutes. This inspite of reminding the waiter three times. It turns out they just forgot to make the food. Finally we had to cancel those orders and leave. To top that, the waiter did not even apologize. He claimed its not his fault, and some one else bungled up. I would not recommend this place to any one. Scott

We discovered Thai Lahna a few months ago and have eaten there several times since. The food is wonderful. pad Thai and Thai ice tea is recommended. The service does vary, depending on the time you arrive and the waiter. The women are great, but there is one male waiter in particular that is horrible. We haven't had a problem with the food coming out at different times though. Maybe they've worked on that since the last review. Marissa Shaffer

Went on a great recommendation; when you walk in there are 'Voted best...' newspaper articles hung on the wall and sitting on the front counter. Unfortunately, the service was disheartening - Four of us ordered at the same time; one got her plate 10 minutes after ordering; another got his 10 minutes after that; I got mine 20 more minutes after the last, and by the time it was past time to leave and get back to work (we were late b/c of the service), the fourth person still hadn't received hers. I received mine so late that I boxed it before I could start eating, and the fourth person, of course, had no time to eat hers. We had to asks for boxes and our bills, as they didn't think to assist us by helping make up the time delay. Once back at work, I started to eat, and it wasn't spicy, as I had requested (emphasizing 'extra' spicy); mine had no spice to it. They gave all my spice to the fourth coworker who had ordered no spice, so she was stuck with hotter-than-the-average-spicy. The food here is very good but service is so horrible I will never go back again. I only received half of my order. After about 30 minuted I asked the waitress about it - she told me that I had changed my mind and canceled the order. I walked out dumbfounded and shaking my head.
