This restaurant location closed several years ago and moved about 8 miles to the north under a new name. Thai & Friends restaurant (located at 20349 US Hwy 27 N in Clermont, FL 34715) is still run by Otto and Rudee with the same menu as Thai Lotus had. Their new phone number is (352) 429-0705.

Fresh food, small restaurant, attentive owner with a flair for spice and sauce. A shining beacon among otherwise poor choices in Clermont. Reservations are a must for dinner as the restaurant only seats about 20.

THIS IS THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT EVER! I have actually been to Thailand and this food is the closest I've ever had to being in Thailand. Its fresh and everything tastes great! They give you HUGE portions for a small price. The owner is so sweet and greets all his customers and knows most by name. Don't let the outside deceive you. Try it! You'll be happy you did!
