Yes, the decor is lacking. Yes, the service is slow. But, hands down, this is the best Thai I've ever eaten. The Thai food Chang Mai, Pad See Ew, and Lad Na are outstanding. If you're looking to be treated like a movie star go to one of the Asian Fusion chains. If you're looking for great Thai cuisine, look no further than Jumbo Tha.

First time I went there, the servers were rude. I thought I'd give them one more chance. Big mistake. They had ONE person working there on a Saturday evening. He was taking orders, cooking, dealing with takeout orders. I doubt if anyone was cleaning the tables. After 15 minutes of not even getting a visit to my table, I left. There were several other tables of potential diners that weren't getting any attention, either. Go to Pattaya Thai on Wadsworth instead.

This place is amazing. The food is exquisite, it doesn't matter the dish as it is all fantastic and I have never been dissatisfied with anything I have ordered. Jumbo Thai has mastered 'flavorful hot' creations. This is miles above any other Thai restaurant I have ever tried, in CO or anywhere else in the US. This restaurant is highly recommended and extremely affordable with phenomenal quality. Don't let the modest setting fool you- this is the Best Thai food in the US. Give it a try.

I lived in Japan and went to Thailand to recover. To this day, I love Thai food. But I have NEVER tasted better Thai in the U.S. than at Jumbo Thai. Their coconut ice cream is home made, with coconut sherbert just dripping with flavor. I recommend HIGHLY their hot basil leaf--you can get it anything from mild to Thai hot. No...wait, my favorite is the tom kha gai, with immense amounts of lemongrass and perfect seasonings of bay leaf. Oh, no..actually, the ginger dishes are my favorite. Those are spectacular creations. Their Thai ice tea is usually spot on. If it's not, tell them, because they'll get it right. And of course, there are new specials every week. Lucky for me it is cheap: Lunch and Dinner for under $7.
