Never had a bad experience here!!! Food is great and presented beautifully. Servers are so friendly and have never gotten my order wrong (all speak great English), they started recognizing me by my third visit, and they are great to returning customers. Some of my favorites: 1. Thai iced tea is an addiction of mine, and theirs is amazing, 2. Tiger's Tear - great if you order it Native Thai, 3. Kiss Me! Garlic & Pepper and Hello Ginger! (Great for someone who doesn't like spicy food or who has never had Thai), and 4. sticky rice with mango. And if you like Japanese, you can also order from Little Tokyo, which is their sister restaurant located next door. I'm a fan for life! A beautiful gem hidden in downtown New London - find it, it's worth it!!! Sara

Love it.. the Ladies are wonderful and the food is great. Thai restaurants always have the friendliest people working in them, Maybe it is the Buddhist culture? Whatever the reason it is always enjoyable...Kids love it to. My 5 year old daughter asks to go there often. Melissa

I am a business traveler. I really didn't feel up to eating at a restaurant but more so picking up food. The hostess was very friendly and when I went back to the hotel, the food was prepared perfectly. Tasteful and Delicious is all I can say, and I didn't even have to eat at the restaurant for full satisfaction. Anonymous

I disagree with what the previous user said about service - I find it to be excellent, friendly and swift. My husabnd and I have been going there for years - now our kids like it too (age 7 & 5!!) The reasonable prices for such quality food make Bangkok City the FIRST on my list of best restaurants in all of the Mystic/New London/ Groton area! Anonymous

My husband and I go to Bangkok City Thai often. The service is excellent, genuine and friendly. The food is delicious, healthy and full of flavor. The prices are more than reasonable, especially the lunch bento box and the wines. Most restaurants have a 150% markup on wines- $8.50 a glass for an $11 bottle. Bangkok City Thai offers a Sauvingon Blanc for about $16 that pairs beautifully with the food. Anonymous

This is the best Thai food around. I love the food and the service is fantastic as well. When I worked at Pfizer we went at least once a month. Now I try to get take out at least once a month sometimes more. Great Place to eat.
