Quality inconsistent. Sometimes good. Half the time, chicken is stale/smelly. If the guy working there is present, food is better, and he seems eager to please customers. Last week, he wasn't around. The girl who took our order was polite but just din't seem to care if we liked the food or not. The chicken was smelly, the beans were raw, food almost cold. We asked for spicy 5, we got 1 or less. We asked for a feedback card/form, she said not available. Didn't bother to even ask if there was any problem with the food. Just wanted to take our cash and send us on our way! Brian

I had an extremely bad experience at this restaurant. I went with some co-workers for lunch. After ordering and waiting about 40 minutes (it was lunch and we were with a group of 7), they brought me the wrong dish. It happens right? However, when I said that they had brought the wrong dish, the server (who was not the person who had taken the order), went away for a moment and then came back and said that *I* had made a mistake and this was in fact what I had ordered (showing me the ticket in Thai where it was written). My co-workers confirmed that this was not what I had ordered. However, as the server continued to disagree and I had only 10 minutes left to eat, I told him to forget it and went lunchless. It was among the most rude, unpleasant experiences I have had in a restaurant. The food did look good, but if you go, I'd get takeout to avoid the rude service. Bob

Over time, this has become (hands-down) the best Thai around. My colleagues and I dine there at least once a week. Try the Beef panang or the Pad Kee Mao... outstanding. Note: lunch is VERY busy. Get there early. Mike

I agree with the most people that their food taste good, except their service can be surprising. I complained about dirty spoon for my soup, and they brought me back another soup with the spoon inside the bowl already. No apology! Good thing that we have other Thai nearby. Deborah

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Bellevue. The veggies are always fresh, the sauces are tasty. My friends and I go there at least once a week and love the Tom Kha Soup. We love the fresh spring rolls with plum sauce. John

I ate here with my wife just after they had opened, it was in 2003 as I recall so this review is dated. Still, what we ordered was not tasty. The food was not well-balanced for the typical Thai taste. My Thai wife was disappointed with everything, I found comfort in the attractive waitress and nice surroundings so it was not a complete loss, but the food here is below average. I believe the owner put up a bunch of money for a nice location, decorated it very well, and forgot that a good chef is important too. I've only been here a handful of times but all experiences were amazing. Wonderful service, most delicious food, and nice surroundings. The waiter and waitress were both very welcoming and professional. They served my Tom Kha over a lantern and my fiance's dish on a hotplate. I didn't care for the thai tea... a little to thick for me, but everything else was great and I'm usually very critical of restaurants and their food. (It's also very affordable) I give it 5 stars.
