In this day and age stars tend to become over-inflated, like grades. They mean little. People give praise like it was deserved or something. THIS IS 4/5 STARS and the deduction is for the cramped seating conditions. THE FOOD IS EXCEPTIONAL -- **AND** TRADITIONAL. -- NOT HIGH CLASS, VILLAGE TRADITIONAL. You can't go wrong. It LOOKS perhaps a bit dingy -- but the food is REAL Tahi -- and they are VERY careful, and almost too conservitive about 'hot'. However, they understand that 'hot' is a flavor and not a contest. So go a step higher than you are normally comfortable and you won't go wrong. Not all food is hot -- and EACH DISH IS HAND MADE WHEN YOU ORDER. So, don't expect fast food. I wanted to try green, red, yellow, and some other color 'hot' sauce and was told I couldn't - they had to make each one by hand -- is that traditional or what? They lose one star for comfort of seating, but the cars in the parking lot don't lie. This can be considered the 'alley way' food stall that we all know serves GREAT food, but doesn't need to shout it from the outside or the inside. When I used to go out I'd go to Asian Gardens -- which has GREAT CHINEESE FOOD -- but Thai, real village Tahi is hard to find -- WARNING: this is not "fancy up-scale" Thai -- this is the real thing. Attire is what ever floats your boat, service is great -- food is exceptional -- but seating is cramped -- so minus one star. If you like Thai you'll love this, if you have not tried it -- this is the place to start -- and the owner will often tell you the 'best' food for 'starters'. exceptional. too bad the seating isn't more comfortable.
