Jasmine

Previously located in Atascadero, Jasmine recently opened its doors in beautiful Morro Bay, CA at the site of the former International Cafe. Their move came at a time when hope was almost lost for the owners of Jasmine. After being located in Atascadero for nearly 18 months, the California Transit (Cal Trans) authority forced them out of their lease due to the building scheduled to be demolished for a highway off-ramp. Distraught and frightened as to their future, Chada seemed ready to crack under the pressure. But at the last moment, the owner of the recently closed International Cafe heeded their distress call and offered the site of the International Cafe to the owners of Jasmine, lock, stock and barrel. After only 2 months of being closed, Jasmine reopened and much to the happiness of Morro Bay residents. Their curries are full of flavor and color, due largely to the fresh ingredients they use. Want that curry extra hot? They can do it for you if you have that masocistic nature about you. They also serve wines from the local Paso Robles and Santa Ynez areas, which when paired with some of their dishes makes for wonderfully delightful dinners. Don't forget the lunch specials, with more food than is really required, but who cares when it tastes so good!
