"The food here is wonderful. The atmmosphere for dine in very pleasant. I have however had numberous problems with take out orders at the Selby location. Please be sure to double check all orders when carrying out. Overall comment: "There damn lucky the food is so good, because its some of the crapiest service i have ever had." This doesn't seem to change despite the 5 times i have taken out food from this location." - mel

Taste of Thailand's Apple Valley restaurant has none of these problems with service. The food is good and the service is consistently excellent.

Taste of thailand is my absolute favorite restaurant. The special eggrolls and the peanut curry with tofu are especially delicious!

Although the food tastes good, seeing a cook come out of the men's room while the toilet was still flushing, obviously without having washed his hands, and then going right back into the kitchen, turned my stomach. To further underscore their lack of regard for handwashing, the ladies room contained neither soap nor hand towels. I'm sorry--I'm too grossed out to ever return, tasty food or no.

Although this may be the best Thai food in terms of taste, in the Twin Cities, the restaurant IS dirty, the service IS terrible and when the servers make mistakes, they DON'T care or compensate you what-so-ever. I have visited numerous times and service seems to be getting worse each time. I even tried to just make my order "to-go" to avoid the hassle of poor service, but Taste of Thailand failed on this occasion as well. When I called to explain the error, I was basically told they couldn't help me. I am NOT impressed. It's too bad a restaurant with such good food couldn't get their quality of service up to par.

I cannot disagree more with Mr. Michael Robert's remarks. I lived in St. Paul for 5 years, and have been around the USA since then and I have NEVER had better masaman curry than that at Taste of Thailand. Nor have I had better pad Thai for that matter, or pra ram long song, or pad pak, you get the picture - Taste of Thailand is a gem!!

I really disagree with those remarks. This is a cozy restaurant and the food is tasty. I especially like the fresh spring rolls , chicken Pad Thai and cocunut curry, nummy to my tummy.

Quite possibly the most dissapointing restaurant I have ever been to in the Twin Cities. I visited on 1/3 at around 2 p.m. The restaurant was dirty. The apetizer I ordered {stuffed squid} was so bad that I asked the server to bring something else. His response: "You order, you must pay". Every single thing that was brought out was underwhelming in every way. I could not recommend this restaurant any less.
