My wife and I enjoy eating at Touch of Tai because it has a relaxing atmosphere and isn't too expensive. Their food is delicious - I recommend the Goy See Mee - and we have had good service every time. The booths are a joke so get a table but overall Touch of Tai is a great place to eat. Deb Donoho

While I usually order what is safe on a menu, this is a place where you can experiment. The main ingredients of each dish is defined on the menu. It was suggested by our watress one time that here favorite meal was eel. I do not eat anything that has a fishy smell or flavor. I absolutely love it. The prices are reasonable. The service is great. We have taken many people here and they also enjoyed it. This is a favorite place of ours. BarbAdams

We are from Chicago and went to the restaurant 09/29/07. My husband and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the teriyake beef and after I ordered I told my husband "they didn't give me a knife to cut the beef." Well after I received the meal I then knew why I didn't get a knife; the meat was sooooo tender you could cut it with a fork. The atmosphere is just gorgeous and the owener "Sam" came to our table and talked with us and made us feel very welcome. Our waitress Clare was very nice and "on the ball." Michelle

Ever since it came under new management about a year ago, Touch of Thai has made leaps and bounds. The service is better, and the food comes out within minutes, not hours. With new management came new dishes--shumai, edamame, teriyaki, etc--for the owners also run a restaurant in Chicago that is Thai and Japanese. I recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the Dixon area. T.C. O'Rourke

Quality shop. Nice atmosphere, pleasant service, great food except... My dumpling appetizer was excellent and the sauce for the panang curry was fabulous, but the beef was sort of bland and rubbery-- tragic, really. As the old joke goes, the portions were a little small. Grant Wendland

Christ, Katia and I sat down and it took us ten minutes (at least!) for the waitress to even bring us our menu. We debated on walking out when finally the waitress came. The place wasn’t even busy! So then we finally get menu’s and it take her longer to come back again, Katia and I both order waters and the waitress brings out half-filled glasses. All told, it took us over an hour to get our food. That’s ridiculous. The food was good though; next time I will order carry out. I think I left the waitress a little more than a dollar for a tip – the service was horrible! Stacee

Touch of Thai is an excellent restaurant in Dixon, Illinois. The Thai dishes are portioned just right and very tasty. Touch of Thai also has a Sushi bar with excellent fresh sushi which equals the quality of any sushi I have eaten at top notch Japanese restaurants. The service has always been very good and the food excellent! We have been eating at Touch of Thai for several years and have had nothing but very good service and amazing food!
