Shogun is my absolute favorite restaurant. I eat there as often as i can and I have never once had a bad dining experience. The service is wonderful and the food is out of this world. The chefs as well as the waiters are willing to go out of their way in order to make your evening satisfying. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and if you don't try it, you are missing out. Whitnye

If I were asked to describe Shogun in one word, it would be impossible because there is no word perfect enough to begin to explain the mouth watering food and the "wet your pants" laughter. Johnny, the owner, as well as some of the other chefs, will make you cry from laughing so hard. The food is great, the service is great, the music is great, the jokes are funny, the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy, and that is the only thing someone could say and be correct! I surely have become a regular. I will never try samurai ever again. Brad White

Bottom line: This place has wonderful food and Sushi. Excellent Atmosphere. Not as crowded as the other Japanese Steak Houses (usually), so you get more attention. If you dont have a sense of humor, Do not request Jonny, the owner, as your chef. As you can see from the first review, Steve didnt appreciate Jonny's humor or attitude. However, if you enjoy humor and an exciting dining experience, request Jonny and go have yourself a fantastic meal at Shoguns. Steve

I would never go back to this place and would not recommend it! Even though, the food was good the service was very inattentive, rude, and snooty. I came out feeling very disappointed and shocked. Shame on them for this because nice folks like me expect much more especially if I spent as much as I did there! I will certainly give my business to some other Japanese restauarant in town and come out being much more satisfied. One more thing, it just goes to show you that no matter how good the food is at a place the service should match it or people probably won't go back. Lisa Pickett

My husband and me lived in wf from 2004-2006(Sheppard)and loved the Shogun. It is a pitty that we are back in Germany. We have eaten there very often, the Wichita Falls roll and the crispy Shrimp roll were our most favourite.
