I ordered khao pad gai like I used to get long ago in Nan Phong when in the military. It is peasant food in that everyone ate it because it was plentiful, tasty and cheap. It is Chicken fried rice but cooked like in Thailand. I had to talk to the cook/owner because it was not on the menu board but once he knew what I wanted, he prepared it for me. Damn, it was good. Next time I will order Khao pad nuea whif is beef fried rice. Pad Thai Inc is top knotch thai food. Wayne

Hey Grant, who doesn't leave a tip because of the food quality? What a classless jerk. You leave tips based on service not whether or not the food was good. Who taught you manners?...or lack there of. It is not the server's fault your food was tasteless. If I had been there I would have left a double tip to compensate for your rudeness. By the way...I like pad Thai. MC

pad Thai is the best Thai in Lexington. Yes it's slightly Americanized, but it's got great flavor. Everything is made fresh, with no MSG and you can even order it in varying degrees of spicy and actually get a spicy dish! Amazing. I highly recommend their Pineapple Curry with Chicken and their spring rolls. The Thai tea is almost a must. . .unlike some of the Thai Tea's I've seen they actually use coconut milk. Tom Aman

pad Thai is excellent! Their signature dish, pad Thai, is an excellent dish in which to wet your feet if you've never eaten Thai food. The have a good selection of curries, my favorite being the pineapple curry with chicken and/or shrimp. Their egg rolls are incredibly good and filled with a delicious sausage and accompanied with a sweet sauce of sorts. Service is very good. They are always packed for lunch and usually for dinner and do a large quantity of carry-out. This restaurant is family owned and will accomodate just about any request you might have. Very good restaurant, excellent prices! Nancy

If you love the traditional pad Thai noodle dish, you might be disappointed in this recipe. Personally, I love their food, but I suppose you could consider it to be somewhat "Americanized". Locally, they have quite a loyal following and I recommend them as long as you are not a "Thai purist". Grant Williams

i have to say this is a place to stay away from. The name of the restaurant is Pad Thai, and their pad Thai left A LOT to be desired. No flavor, and in Thai cuisine, having no flavor is just a sign of bad news. My dinner mates had the coconut curry (if memory serves) and they were only so-so about it. Ii am a Thai enthusiast who previously lived in Atlanta and was privy to great thai food. I found Pad Thai to be bad, the worst thai i've eaten. In fact, its the only place i've never left a tip...and i had no speck of guilt as the food was flavorless and the menu slight. Suzanne Matthews

This is my favorite Thai restaurant & I live in NY State. I always stop in for Panang Curry Tofu when I'm in KY. The Tom Yum Talay is very good also. I absolutely love this place. My husband and I go out very seldom, but we get carry-out from here all the time. I don't know - and don't care- if their pad thai dish is truly "authentic" or not, but I love it. I've had it at other thai restaurants and have not liked any as well as from here. Their curries are heavenly, as well, but I love the pad thai so much it's hard for me to order anything else.
