Bangkok City

I was shocked at the bad review I read, and had to take the time to express my opinion here. I travel a lot and have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the USA. Bangkok City is my favorite, by far! The Imperial Spring rolls alone are worht a trip to Springfield ! Please try this place if you like Thai food!!!

i went to bangkok city thai to order out lunch. it not only took an extremely long time to receive my food on a monday afternoon, but i received the completely wrong order. the waitress had actually mixed up the two customers before me as well. the food was okay, but the shrimp was not fresh tasting and had a fishy odor to it. if you want to have thai here make sure your order is correct and stay away from the seafood.

Disappointing. The prices on the menu were outragious for Springfield. Not sure if they just raised them but it was high. Had the Tom Kha Gai soup which was ok. Very little chicken or mushrooms in it. The entree was small for the 14.00 price. Should have been more like 8 or 9. Taste was good. The mints by the register tasted like they were from 1980. ICK! then i almost fell down the brick steps outside because they are falling apart. Watch yourself.

Reminded me of when I was living in Thailand...great food

Bangkok City is the most authentic Thai food place in Springfield. Recently moved to Historic Walnut Street, the resturant is quant and has outside dining available. I have tried most of the menu and everything is evenly good.

This is probably the best Thai food I have ever had. Highly recommened to anyone who enjoys Thia and Southeast asia cuisine.
