I, like Sean whom I know personally, agree that this is the very best restaurant in central Illinois. Whenever I head near Springfield my plans always include a stop to the Magic Kitchen. I order only medium temperature so that I can taste all the flavor of the dish. Everything on the menu is yummy but don't forget to bring your own alcohol. Sean Kutzko

We eat there often and it is consistently exceptional. They do not have a liquor license but you are allowed to bring your own wine, beer, etc. with no hassle which we appreciate since we can always have a great bottle of wine without getting ripped off. The Chili Paste, Basil dishes and Garlic Salmon continue to be our favorites but have tried most everything and it all is cooked fresh and is very good. Entries run about $8 which makes it extremely affordable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and most are related family members that just do a wonderful job. No reservations just put your name on the list. The wait is usually not too long. MLC

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Great Thai food, great atmosphere, love the BYOB option. I agree with all that this is the best food in central IL. I eat here almost 3 to 4 times a week. I highly recommend the Fried Wanton Rad Na, good stuff.
