I come here quite often like once or twice each week since last year. If it's not to sit and dine, it's carry out. Comparatively to most places, it has an interesting jolt to it. The Chinese is awesome and sushi, too! I'm not a big fan of sushi, but the waiter got me hooked into those Seafood Tempura Rolls when he recommended it to me last year. Good stuff! I have been treated extremely well and okay at times when I arrived at rush hour (even though it's bad time, but when you have the craving... you have the craving) and especially on Friday and Saturday (you regret it). So, I try to arrive before of after the rush. Anyway, I use to work for Chili's and I know how things are when it's busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights. I haven't been disappointed so far and my girlfriend always wants me to take her here every time she arrives from California. As far as I can see, you just have to see it a few times for yourself. I also like gawa, but popo is so much better since they have Chinese, too! Perhaps, if you see me, we'll probably have a sake-bomb (June 13, 2008). J. Cassel

A friend and I ate Curried chicken Saturday afternoon, May 17th. We both experienced vomiting and diarhea the following Sunday and Monday. Attempted to call the restaurant, Monday the 19th and got a ring no answer. I called the number listed on this web site. Normally the food is delicious. We were horribly disappointed this time. Sushi Popo has always provided a good, clean, and friendly environment whenever we visit. The food menu presents a tasty choice dilemma...What to choose?? Without exception, everything we've chosen on the menu has been prepared attractively and excited the taste buds. Mmmm! The owner makes his own Soy Sauce to save money. It tastes like brown water. Sushi Gawa is much better and cleaner if you are interested in good sushi.
