Baan Thai

I had a horrible experience today at lunch. Came at the end of the lunch rush. Had a party of two total. There was one six-top table left and the waitress REFUSED to seat us. No big parties waiting or anything. wE won't be back.

If you want authentic Thai food, then this is the place to go. If you want Chinese food, go somewhere else. Pete and Roong are native Thai and they won't settle for anything less than the best.

Love the atmosphere and the staff. The food is fantastic - everything I've had is good. Relatives from Thailand have eaten there and complimented the food.

This place is a JOKE! The worst Thai food ever. Pad Thai is so nasty, Tom Kah Gai is tasteless and Fish Garlic is really really sucks!!!

I literally preach this restaurant because it is so good. I have been to pretty much every Thai restaurant in Indiana and Baan Thai is the best. Their egg rolls, Thai tea, Pad Thai, etc, are all top-knotch. I cannot praise them enough!

Baan Thai is exquisitely decorated; but that's besides the point- the food here is the main attraction, not the decor. I heartily recommend anything on the lunch special, but most especially their 'Three-Flavor Chicken' and their 'Pineapple Fried Rice'. 5 Stars! *****

The food here is outstanding. I've been to numerous Thai restaurants in Illinois and Ohio. Baan Thai is by far the best. The quality is comparable to what you would find at a good restaurant in Bangkok. I tried the basil pork, Tom Kha Gai, and chicken laab. They were all excellent. This is real Thai Food, not "international style" cooking. So medium spicy should be hot enough for most people. Most of the selections were priced at $9.95. Considering the quality of the food, this is an extraordinary bargain.

By far the best Thai restaurant we've eaten at (and we've tried quite a few all over the country). There are no words to describe the taste, the experience, the service you get at Baan Thai.

This has got to be some of the best food my husband & I have ever eaten.We love going there.Great cooks and waitresses.

Baan Thai is my Favorite place to eat. Pete is the best cook ever, and every dish he creates is not only delicious but beautiful as well. Wether you're a meat eater, vegetarian, or vegan, there's something on the menu for you. I recommend the tom kha Tofu soup, Pud Kra Tiem (broccoli, tofu, onions & carrots; made extra spicy, and mango with sticky rice. Top it off with a cold Singha or Thai tea, and you have the perfect meal! You must eat here!!

Best Thai food outside of Thailand. ( I go there often)

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Courteous waitresses. Be sure to try some of the spicy items.
