Thai Thai Sushi Bar

These guys are awesome, they always greet us and make pleasant conversation. They're never too busy to make you feel like you're important. We've been there often enough that they ask about how things are going, and they know all our favorites! These guys are not only great chefs, but they're just pleasant down to earth people.

I love getting their lobster pad thai lunch special. It has huge pieces of lobster and claw meat, and comes with their soup of the day and a spring roll, all for good price. Their pad thai, no matter what meat is used is just so yummy. I asked if they use fish sauce which is typical for a pad thai and I was told "no", they use soy sauce. I've been to some places that used some pretty funky fish sauce with weird flavor, but not here. Good portions. Love the sushi too. Anyone who leaves a really bad review for Thai Thai either is out of their mind, or they are the competition.

I would call this place ok. Not the best. And ok is really cutting it. There really isn't great sushi in Melbourne. But actually Melbourne doesn't have any good restaurants, so I don't trust any reviews I read here.

I am surprised by the negative reviews also. Another local sushi restaurant recently changed their menu and our family discovered Thai Thai after that. The service is great and the prices are comparble. The food is excellent and I eat here at least once per month. I recommend that all sushi lovers try this restaurant.

Best Sushi Ever!!

Thai Thai is my absolute favorite place for authentic, delicious, and incredible Thai food. I love their Basil chicken, as well as their Chicken satay and fried tofu. They also make some unbeliveable soups. Very tasty and great quality food! Service is also always exceptional, very friendly, and a pleasant dining experience. The only drawback is it is a little pricy, but the portions are very good. Awesome restaurant!

This place is amazing! I love their Volcano roll. They are a little pricey, but their food makes up for it.

I eat here twice a week and love it. I know all the sushi chefs and the staff are all great! Best sushi i have ever had from new york, chicago, the keys, denver ANYWHERE!!

Three of my friends and I ate at Thai Thai II on a Saturday night. We all sat at the sushi bar and had wonderful service. The food was incredible! I split 3 rolls with someone and we couldn't finish it. Big Portions! Great Restaurant.

Thai Thai was amazing for my first visit! No, the place is not immaculate but it is clean. We visited Thai Thai 3, which is small, and not overly decorated like other places that charge you twice the price for half the amount of sushi. I'm assuming the negative comments are from people who are more used to those places. The food was delicious, the prices were great considering quantity, and the staff was very helpful in answering questions. I only wish it wasn't so crowded. They are always busy I am told- and for good reason! This is a great place to try something yummy!

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. (Seriously, it is really great.) The portions are more than generous, the staff is friendly, and the food is phenomenal. The restaurant is always very clean too. I would not believe the negative comments.

Mediocre. What they lack in Quality food they make up for in scenery. You will find Banzai Thai just across the way is quite the opposite. 2/5

I eat at the Thai Thai nearly every Wednesday PM. The food is great. The store IS clean and the staff IS friendly. Those who gave bad reviews must have been smoking something

I was really grossed out by the lack of cleanliness and poor food handling conditions that I observed. I will never go back to this place. I paid for food that I didn't eat in fear of becoming ill.

Terrible service. They are very rude and try to get you to leave as quickly as possible. I don't recommend eating here on weekends.

I thought Tampa had some of the best sushi bars and Thai food, but I was very wrong! Thai Thai here off Wickham is by far the BEST of both worlds!
