Thai Spice

Absolutely the most horrible service and food I have had in a long time!

My husband and I were tourists for the first time in Corpus Christi on the weekend of April 20-22nd. We stayed right on Shoreline Drive so we could walk along the bay wall and the restaurants on Water Street. We decided to have a light lunch at Thai Spice and after we were seated and viewed the menu, were aghast at the expensive prices. There was not a lunch menu or small portion menu--just looked like the dinner menu. Deciding to have just the large sushi rolls for $7.95/plate, we discovered the charge for the jasmine tea was $3.95/ea... The sushi rolls were nicely presented, but the seaweed wrap was very tough. Several customers came in and once seated and viewing the menu, asked for a lunch menu and then left. The prices for the noodle bowls were $9.95...way too expensive for lunch. As an insult, the final bill reflected a Tax of $4.95...almost 20% of our total lunch. We got three times the diversity and quality and quanity of food at The Waterstreet Seafood Restaurant at almost the same price. Would not go back...

THai Spice has moved its location to a beautiful downtown location just across Ocean Drive from the Selena memorial statue, at the corner on Peoples Street. Here you will enjoy fine dining, exotic flavors and a good price with family charm.

Fantastic restaurant. A delicious little get away. Amazing food at good prices and wonderful service. Always a pleasure. We seek out Thai food whenever we travel. Thai Spice in Corpus Christi rates among the best.

This is the most personable, enjoyable restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not to mention, the food, service, and presentation is phenomenal. DO NOT MISS.
