Taste of Thai

This place used to serve above average (but Americanized) Thai food with a Chinese influence. However, the owner now has three restaurants, including Nami to jump on the Japanese food trend. The staff in Del Mar have no supervision and the place has suffered. On my last trip, the waitress made two errors and we only ordered two salads and two dishes. I noticed the large party next to us also sent back a dish. When I told her the mistake she accused me of lying and started acting very psychotic. It's the same boring dish I order every-time and my wife confirmed I had ordered correctly. That's the last time I'll be abused at Taste of Thai in Del Mar!

food is better in take out mode since the service has always been a little lax. I have eaten ther since they opened the first site in Hillcrest and this one near my home. I give it a 7 out of 10.
