I have eaten at Narin well over twenty times in the past few years. I have never had a problem with the sanitation, flavor or contents of the food. The kitchen does get backed up so we typically order soup and appetizers. We also don't go if we are in a hurry. The staff is very friendly and reponsive when you ask, otherwise they let you eat. I've been eating Thai for twenty years and think this is one of the best Thai places in the area. kyra

It was an awful experience for us. We went to Narin Thai in Burlingame since we've heard a lot of good reviews about it. It's a small cozy restaurant with only a few waitresses (with black shirts and pants). It took 15 minutes just to get the menu. There are 3 waitresses and about 9 tables occupied. I started to be impatient this time and wanted to go but my husband insisted, so I got the dessert, since I wasn't hungry, i just had mango with sticky rice. It took 45 minutes to get the order ready and the worst part, it had a small cockroach to go with it. If you want a well-deserved meal and you don't want to wait for about an hour, have second thoughts eating here. What a waste of time. bummer! Robyn

I highly recommend this thai restaurant. I don't eat Thai that often and when I do I just get pad Thai noodles but this time I tried a bunch of different plates and they were all amazing. The fish was fresh and the sauces were yummy. The service was great and the fried bananas dessert with coconut ice cream was the best I have ever had. I called in advance to see if there was a wait and when I got there they had a table reserved for me. I went there last night and I want to go back tonight.
