Cha Am

The food was so-so. There are many other Thai places that I like better, but this is one of the few I could find in my area that is open for lunch on Saturdays. We ordered take-out, so I have no comments about the service other than the waitress who picked up the phone was very helpful with suggesting dishes that were enjoyable, as I didn't have a menu.

Cha Am is great! The food is fantastic, and consistent over time. The service is as you can expect for bargains like this. If you dont like it, as Kate, then you should rather snob upwards, to Chez Panisse's first floor restaurant - which actually is not that good anymore.

Not that great. The ambiance was good and it was crowded so I thought I was in for a treat, but the food was uninspiring at best and the service was not very good either. I wont be going back.
