My Thai

We went for a Sunday night dinner.We are strict vegetarians and opted for the vegetarian menu option. After we had finished almost half of our soup, chicken piece was found in it. We informed the waiter and he was least apologetic.He just said sorry and took the soup away. The food arrived after a half hour wait- Very Average after all the hype around this place. When the bill arrived, we reminded them that our soup had chicken..and guess what?..THE WAITER SAYS..WHAT CHICKEN??..WE REMINDED HIM AND HE SAID IT WASNT CHICKEN. I SAID IF IT WASN'T CHICKEN , WAS IT RUBBER?..HE SAID YES AND THEN WHEN I SAID THATS EVEN WORSE, CALL THE MANAGER..HE SAID I AM THE MANAGER. THEN HIS COWORKER CAME AND STARTED SHOUTING AT US SAYING ITS NOT SUCH A BIG DEAL IF THERE WAS CHICKEN IN OUR SOUP.WE ASKED FOR THE MANAGER, AND SHE SAID MANAGER HAS LEFT.WE SAID HE JUST SAID HE IS THE MANAGER.HE SAID NO I DINT SAY THAT. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND RUDE PEOPLE..DONT EVER GO THERE

This place rocks- I have no idea why there is such a bad review listed below..I CRAVE this place!

Great food, with spice levels anywhere from mild to "fire" (for which they use habaneros as well as Thai chilis; this makes the hottest Thai food I've ever had). Been there many times; always got good service.

I also have been frequenting My Thai since about 2002. There was a definite decline in quality of food in 2005. Often get take-out because the service isn't very good.

The food is good but the Service sucks....Yes..it sucks.

Had been a regular customer to this restaraunt since 2002.Food had been good.But , late 2005,I noticed that quality / standards have come down a bit.Just,need to find out from friends if they too realised the same....

I was loyal customer, but lately I was sensing rudness. Serving staff is very very rude specially today. Worst thing is they are becoming very cheap. We were party of 4 and 3 were vegetarian and one was not. We asked for hot sauce on side and they gave one without seperate spoon or fork so non-veg person touched it with his fork. We politely asked for another one for vegetarian group. First they questioned with emphasizing another one. We said yes for vegetarian group and at last it appeared on bill. They charged extra for second sauce even after explaining befor paying. Point is not asking for extra buck, which we paid. But not understanding why we asked for second sauce and waiters beein rude thinking they can treat customers the way they want. They just lost me as customer and I hope they don't be so rude to other customers. They should realize that customer service is also important with food.

Excellent food...and yes, the vegetarian menu is mighty helpful.

This places is great -- and has a separate vegetarian menu
