City Thai

This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in Southern California. Every dish I have had is absolutely delicious. I recommend the Potstickers which are served with the Green Curry Sauce, the Salmon Salad is excellent, the best Pineapple Rice that I have had anywhere. I love it! I have taken a few friends and family there and they all love it!

they SHORT CHANGE you....there is a lady there who loves to wear blue or green eye shadow, and she has short changed me on two occasions, it's only a few cents but I wonder how many other people she's done this to. in total she short changed me $.06 cents. U do that to 1000 customers that's $60.00.

I'm from San Diego and I love City Thai, I make sure when I'm in town this is my first stop.. This place serves authentic thai dishes, The curries are all really good.. Always a good experience, It is a casual place and right on the corner of a busy street, and you can watch the unique people that pass by as well as enjoying a great meal...

City Thai is fantastic. The curry dishes are spectacular! As opposed to the thin sludge of coconut milk that some thai restaurants use, this restaurant has curries that appear to have coconut cream instead. This makes for a rich and sumptuous curry texture. The food is always prepared to taste. When asked for spicy, you better be prepared! Great ambiance and good service.

Whatever the other reviewer may have encountered, I can only say the opposite. The food here is wonderful. And the service is amazing...no matter how many times we show up, no matter how much time has lapsed, they always remember us, and what out favotire dishes are. An enjoyable experience each and every time. Cheers!

Beware if you are ready to step into this place. I went with my friend to have a good dinner and everything that we ordered tasted so horrible. Thai ice tea was tasting as if it was made with expired milk, Thai spicy chick fried rice had hard rice in it, chicken was tasting like it was over cooked and burnt, my friend ordered for something and it was also disgusting. Finally we ended up eating nothing and wasting $50. It is the worst place I have ever been in Pasadena. It was a surprise because the waiter usually checks after serving the food "Is everything fine", but the waiter did not come near to the table except for serving the food. May be he also knew that the food was not edible.
