Thanh Binh II

This restaurant was great! I had been going to a place almost to the T like this back in Seattle- being in S. OC I have not had much luck in finding a Pho restaurant. Thank GOD I found this place! If you're weary of asian restaurants that serve flourescent pink sauces- and load their food with artificial ingredients- then you'll be quite happy to find that this place is much more akin to visiting a family home. The atmosphere is not a 5 star setting, but who cares when the food is so great at such a great price? The menu is a little intimidating since it's mostly in Vietnamese- but there's an English explanation to follow. But again, the food is good so I don't really think that there is a way to go wrong. If you're not accustomed to the etiquette of eating any of the items, the servers are more than happy to explain. So- if you're in the mood for some good pho, or other Vietnamese cuisine head off to Thanh Binh II, it's well worth your time and $$!
