Thai Siam

I ordered take-out lunch from this restaurant, and ordered it as HOT as they could make it. Even when I went to pick it up, I asked if they had made sure to make it extremely HOT!.......a baby could have eaten that food. Each item was was dissapointingly mild. Where can I find a restaurant that can make real hot Thai food? in SLC? Very dissapointed.

Thai Siam is Awesome! I REALLY enjoy Indian food and made the mistake of assuming that they were similar. Thai food is more asian, however I found two dishes that have that perfect balance of sweet/spicy without being too much like chinese food. I suggest trying the masaman curry and the Thai food, together they are perfect. The atmosphere here is nice and the serivice is always friendly. I highly recommend this resturant.

Thai Siam is likely the best Thai resturant in Salt Lake City. The environment is nice - it's decorated with traditional Thai art. However, the space is small and there are a lot of tables packed into a little space. The food is fantastic! We especially love the curry paste. There are also many other options available on the menu. The prices are fair. The resturant is gaining in popularity, so if you plan to visit on a weekend, you should plan a short wait for a table.
