Thai smile is wonderful. It is a bonus that it is within walking distance of our home. Great family owned business and cozy atmosphere. Another bonus... BYOB!

The best Thai restaurant in the suburbs. I love the curry dishes and the chicken satay is delicious.The atmosphere is relaxing and the owner really goes out of her way to be friendly. It's the perfect little neighborhood restaurant!

With so many choices for Thai cuisine in Chicago, it's easy to develop a palate for the flavour but difficult to choose amongst the many interpretations. Unfortunately, there are few options in the southern suburbs. Thankfully there's Thai Smile. This family run business is quaint and friendly and consistently good. I enjoy the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, tom yum soup, and all of their curries. They will spice each dish to your liking, so be sure to specify for the best experience. I'd stay away from the pad Thai- it's kind of orange in colour and somewhat goopy in texture (gets boring after a few bites). But the rest of the menu is great - many seafood options keep things interesting. I give it a consistent 83/100 - add that to the reasonable price, fast and friendly service and you've got a winner.

Thai Smile is an intimate dinning experience, easily accessible from Harlem Ave. I'v had pretty much all of the curry dishes with every combination of meat and they were all delicious. Noodle dishes are excellent as well. The Thai iced tea is up to par with others and the appetizer menue offers a wide variety of selections. The chicken say tay and the spring rolls are at the top of my recommendation list, and above all the prices are very reasonable.
