Lavender Thai & Chinese

My experience was not quite up to the other reviews I have seen on this restaurant. First, a wine that I wanted was not available. This wine was offered by the glass. Another similar wine was priced the same by bottle but was not offered by the glass. The manager would not sell this wine by the glass as a replacement. Second, the manager would not sell this wine for the price stated in the menu. Third, the nam tok and Larb were shown in the menu as spice (Nam Tuk was double marked as spicy). They were not only not spicy but they were not at all spicy. The manager stated that the clientel in that area does not like spicy (poor excuse). The remaining items that we ordered was very good but the attitude and policies of this establishment prevent me from putting this restaurant on my list of places to eat even though they have potential. Too bad.

We eat here at least once a week. The wait staff is friendly and the food is superb. I would recomend the pad Thai noodles or the the panang curry. The Thai food is the best I have eaten.

Excellent food, great service. A wonderful change from chain restaurants!
