It used to be good, but since new management took over it is horrible!!!!! The food is very inconsistent and the service is terrible. They have 2 peole who not only wait on table but also work the register and everything else. Once I ordered fried red snapper, they brought out catfish. They refused to change it even though it's their mistake and didn't take it off the check. Should have learned my lesson, but I went there again thinking the new management needs time to adapt. Well, this time they did give me the red snapper, but they made it way too spicy even though I asked for mild & the fish still had scales on it. I asked them to try to make it mild and give me one w/o scales. They refused to do it and charged me for it anyway. My family paid them for what we ate and left and they chased after us demanding that we pay them for the fish we didn't even touch. They screamed at us and kicked our car. These people are primitives. I would rather eat dirt than eat free there. onthemove

I read the reviews and a amazed to find the negative one. We drive from Keller, nearly 50 miles to eat here. My wife and I are extreme lovers of Thai food and Jasmine serves some of the best and they will make it really spicy if you like. This is a neighborhood rstaurant, not Del Frisco's. They make each dish fresh and the way you order it. Greg Harper

I stopped by this place by accident. It was about 10 minutes before lunch closing and I could tell they weren't happy so I ordered to go. Man was the food awesome! and very reasonable priced. I only order there to go so can't speak of the service but food is excellent. Rodney Haas

Top Ten of Dallas Thai Restaurants! The food is exceptional and the price reasonable. While Jasmine does not have a large dining area nor intimate setting, those looking for authentic taste with sizable helpings, Jasmine is superb! A few unique dishes to try that you won't find elsewhere: Bataba and the Mango Salad (in season). Local food critics also have raved about Jasmine (thus how I discovered it). Rani

Dear Friends/Colleaques, This restaurant is the worst restaurant in plano. In the beginning the staff is very friendly, you order the food and wait for 20 mins and the food hasn't arrived yet, so you call up the waitress. She says few more minutes and I wait for 15 more minutes and my food arrives. I taste the food and did not like it at all. They don't have the consistency in making their food. I was frustrated as I took my colleagues in the dinner time and I had to get embarrased as they had to wait so long and the food did not turn out to be great. They have discrimination on top of that. If they see american customer treat them well, but we have asian + mexicans they don't treat well. With this experience I was so angry and frustrated that I just gave them no tip. The waitress ran behind me to my car and she told me and my colleagues the following statement: "DON'T COME TO THE RESTAURANT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TIP US". You tip why? Only if you liked the service and the food. Stephanie

Great food, and yes, the Bataba is very good. The quality of the service depends on who is working there, but I go for the food. It can be a little slow (but I would be suspicious of any place that cooked and deliverd the food too quickly). The fish cakes and Tom Kha Gai are also excellent. There is a second Jasmine on Parker that is very good too.
